Energy Impact Illinois
Energy Impact Illinois (EI2) makes it simple to lower your bills and improve the comfort and value of your home. EI2 is led by Elevate Energy.
Energy Impact Illinois will connect you with a trusted energy advocate to help you understand how your home uses and wastes energy in addition to identifying the most cost-effective improvements to make your home more efficient and comfortable.
Elevate Energy will serve as your advocate through the entire process and help you find rebates and loans to reduce the cost of energy efficiency improvements. More than 4,000 homes in Illinois have participated in EI2 and saved an average of $400 annually on utility bills. Many of the homeowners that have worked with us have also qualified for the Illinois Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® certificate.
We’ll Be There Every Step Of The Way
We’re already working throughout Chicagoland and will be your advocate through the entire improvement process. We oversee our contractors to make sure the work gets done right at a reasonable price. We connect you with rebates, loans, and other valuable incentives that can reduce the cost of energy efficiency improvements. The typical improvements—such as air sealing and adding insulation—are very affordable and pay for themselves quickly.
Improve The Comfort And Value Of Your Home
Homes that complete the EI2 program are warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, keeping your family more comfortable. If your home becomes 15 percent more efficient, you’ll also qualify for the Illinois Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® certificate, which shows prospective home buyers that your home is energy efficient. Research suggests that homes with these certificates sell faster and at higher prices.
